WeatherQuest is an exceptional forecasting service based in the University of East Anglia in Norwich.

Their highly experienced team, led by Jim Bacon (well known for his TV and radio forecasts) has worked with Ice Watch to develop a unique cold weather forecasting service, tailored to accurately predict ground conditions.

When forecasting, the WeatherQuest philosophy is to add value to computer model predictions. Working together, the Ice Watch and WeatherQuest teams use their knowledge and experience to produce localised forecasts that are far more accurate than the generally available regional forecasts.

As a result, we are able to judge not only the likelihood of freezing temperatures at the sites we look after, but also the specific localised risk of slippery conditions.
